Station 4

On October 2023, the City of Frankfort City Council authorized the contract to build a new 12,000-15,000 square foot fire station. 

This new station (Station #4) will be an addition to the current three stations that are operational. Station #4 will be the first dedicated growth to the City's Fire Department since 1968. The new station will be designed to house an additional 12 firefighters and have the capability to withstand the growth of Frankfort towards Interstate 65. 

The current design, location selection, and detailed specific functions will continue as the City of Frankfort officials continue to work through the design phase. 

The City has a perspective timeline for completion by mid to 2026 or early 2027!
