Frankfort Man Arrested After Traffic Stop for Speeding
Frankfort, IN. On March 19, 2023, at approximately 11:37 P.M., an officer with the Frankfort Police Department observed a truck traveling 42 MPH in a 30 MPH zone on Delphi Ave near Avery. After the officer caught up to the truck, a traffic stop was conducted in the area of Harrison and Kyger. The male driver quickly exited the truck and threw a bag up in the air in an attempt to hide it. He tried to throw it on the roof of a building but it hit the side of the of the building and fell down beside his truck.
The Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office has filed the following charges on 40-year-old Aaron Huber of Frankfort:
Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 3 Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony
Possession of Cocaine, a Level 5 Felony
Possession of a Narcotic Drug, a Level 5 Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Level 6 Felony
Possession of Marijuana, a Class A Misdemeanor
Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor
“We have had several complaints of speeding on Delphi Avenue,” said Chief Scott Shoemaker. “A traffic stop for speeding has resulted in the confiscation of illegal drugs and filing of habitual offender status to this suspect.”
