Utility Service Board Accepting Bids for Lease of Farm Ground

Frankfort Municipal Utilities have 31 acres of farm ground available for lease. Bids are being accepted until October 21, 2019.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Frankfort Utility Service Board will take sealed bids for anyone interested in leasing and farming approximately 31 acres, more or less located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 21 N, Range 1 W, Center Township, Clinton County, Indiana. The Utility Service Board will accept sealed bids until October 21, 2019, at 4:00 P.M. at the Frankfort Water Works Office, 2105 W. Armstrong Road, Frankfort, IN 46041.

All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 7:00 P.M., October 21, 2019, in the Council Chambers of Old Stoney, 301 E. Clinton St. Frankfort, IN 46041. Announcement of winning bid will be October 24, 2019. All bids received later than the above time will be returned unopened.

Said real estate will be leased pursuant to a written cash lease of (3) three years.
The Utility Service Board reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects in bids or bidding procedure, or reject any and all bids, or to accept any bids as may be highest, or most responsible as exclusively determined by the Board. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above-scheduled time for the opening of the bids or authorized postponement thereof. Should there be reasons why the lease cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Board and the Bidder.
The Bidder to whom the lease is awarded will be required to sign said cash lease and abide by the terms and provisions thereof.
