Frankfort, IN – As improvement work continues on North Maish Road, additional asphalt is being laid in the next two days with new sidewalks tentatively scheduled to be in place early next week.
According to GAI Consultants Senior Technician Bud McQuade who is overseeing the construction project, the flashing lights at the intersection of Maish Road and Washington Avenue have been removed for the duration of the project, with motorists asked to adhere to posted stop signage.
“A temporary stop sign barrel is at this intersection for additional awareness for motorists. There is a possibility that by mid-week, traffic will be rerouted onto the newly completed side of the road so that old asphalt on the west side can be removed. As always, we are asking area residents and drivers to be very careful while in the project area,” McQuade said.
