Parks Superintendent Ron Gant’s statement regarding July 13 incident at TPA Pool

At approximately 1:55 p.m. today, TPA Pool lifeguards discovered an eight-year-old female Frankfort resident unresponsive face up in the shallow part of the pool. Within 15 seconds of the lifeguards’ discovery, Parks’ staff cleared the pool of all swimmers and called Clinton County paramedics while lifeguards removed the girl from the water.
