Firefighters partner with Boys & Girls Club on mentor program
A dozen Frankfort firefighters are participating in a mentoring program, working with kids once a week at the Clinton County Boys & Girls Club. Spearheaded by Fire Chief John Kirby who also serves as the Club’s athletic director, the initiative is designed to partner Frankfort youth with strong role models while they enjoy Club activities.

From January 1 – June 14 of this year, the Frankfort Fire Department staff handled seven fires, responded to 226 fire alarms, 519 ambulance assists, conducted 118 inspections and ten other types of assistance.
Senior citizens reminded to sign up for Safer Seniors and Neighbors Helping Neighbors
