Motorists urged to use extra caution with high water on roadways

Sewer Department crews have placed high water signs at Third Street, Freeman Street, Mikaela Drive and Goder Drive. While these streets are not closed, drivers are strongly urged to use extra caution if they have to travel on them.

With the heavy rainfall in the past few days and the forecast calling for additional rain, please use caution while traveling on all city streets in general.

If residents need sand or sand bags for their properties, they are available at the Clinton County EMA office at 1859 South Jackson Street at the far east end of the parking lot.

Stay safe and dry!
