Do you have what it takes to be a Frankfort police officer?

The Frankfort Police Department currently is accepting applications for the position of a full-time police officer.  Applicants must be at least 21 years old, be a high school or GED graduate, possess a valid Indiana driver’s license at the time of appointment and be able to pass written, physical and background tests.  After the first year, officers will earn $45,731 per year.  Our excellent benefits package includes health/dental insurance, uniform allowance, specialty certification pay, longevity pay, on-site exercise room and a take home vehicle.

Applications can be picked up at the Frankfort Police Department, 201 West Washington Street, Frankfort, Indiana, or by visiting the Police Department’s section of the City’s Web site. Applications must be returned no later than Friday, April 28, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
