Staff vacating Old Stoney by February 15

Various offices relocating around the community

 Frankfort, Ind. – With the renovation of Old Stoney about to begin, staff will be completely moved out of the building by Monday, February 15, relocating to various buildings throughout the community.

The Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer’s offices will relocate to the IT building at 1050 East Washington Avenue between the Street Department and Frankfort Light & Power. The Frankfort Building Services Department, Clinton County Area Plan Commission and Veterans Affairs office will relocate to 51 West Clinton Street (former United Way building).

The Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and Frankfort Main Street will move to their new permanent home in the former Creations building at 62 North Main Street.

The Clinton County Republican Party headquarters can be reached by calling Chairman Jim Moyer at 659-1790. The Clinton County Chapter of the American Red Cross will operate out of the Red Cross’ Lafayette office, but still can be reached at their Frankfort phone number, 659-2921.

Area IV Agency on Aging & Community will relocate to 1008 South 5th Street and the Clinton County Historical Society can be reached at 491-9403.

The first operational day for City offices in their new locations will be Tuesday, February 16 at 8:00 a.m. Phone numbers and emails remain the same for all City staff in the relocated offices. All mail still should be sent to the Old Stoney street address of 301 East Clinton Street.

Current plans call for staff to move back into Old Stoney this fall, with the entire renovation project expected to take approximately one year.
