One Last Thing: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Are you a senior citizen or resident who has physical challenges that prevent you from taking care of your property OR are you interested in helping your neighbors with yard maintenance or exterior painting of houses? Do we have a program for you:  Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

Seniors and physically challenged residents who need help are encouraged to call 654-5278 for a free 30-minute visit from Building Inspector Sam Payne and Street Superintendent George Belmore who will evaluate yard and exterior home conditions.

Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the tasks needed should call the same number above. Sam and George will coordinate community volunteers, matching them up with those whose yards and exteriors need help.

It’s all about pitching in and helping those who need assistance so everyone can take pride in their property for the benefit of the entire community.
