50th Anniversary of Wesley Manor Retirement Community

WHEREAS, Wesley Manor was founded and continues to operate on Christian principles with the philosophies of service and ministry, care and compassion; and,

WHEREAS, Wesley Manor, a non-profit affiliated organization with the United Methodist Church, welcomes people of all races and religions; and,

WHEREAS, Wesley Manor has been serving older adults, providing them with a loving, caring, comfortable home and quality care for 50 years; and,

WHEREAS, Wesley Manor provides senior services in all areas from independent village homes and apartments, assisted living, skilled care to dementia care; and,

WHEREAS, Wesley Manor is a benevolent organization providing care for many individuals by raising thousands of dollars to ensure every resident in need of services receives quality care regardless of their financial situation; and,

WHEREAS, the City of Frankfort recognizes Wesley Manor as one of its largest employers, providing a great place to work for a dedicated staff; and,

WHEREAS, Wesley Manor is recognized as a partner in all areas of life in Clinton County by providing support for such organizations as St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital, Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, COACH Kids, the Community Foundation;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Chris McBarnes, in recognition of Wesley Manor’s long standing commitment to and leadership in the City of Frankfort, do hereby proclaim Sunday, April 1, 2012 as the

50th Anniversary of Wesley Manor Retirement Community

and encourage the support and participation of all citizens in the many programs this organization offers.
